Well, it turned out to be an appendicitis attack. My baby girl is better now and home - see her blog for a terse version of the whole story. I just want to say thank you all for your prayers. She truly needed them.

I tried to comment when you wrote about your daughter's pain, but it wouldn't work. I had a ruptured apprendix a week after we arrived in AZ for an internship while I was pregnant! I wish we all could have helped more, but just as in our case, even when no family is around, good people step in and help out! We're glad everyone is doing fine now! Thanks for the head up! Em
